1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
I start each day with this prayer: “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” It reminds me there are no guarantees in life and I must make the most of each moment. If there is something I can do to get more out of each experience, that motivates me to try harder.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
My perfect day starts with my furbabies waking me up with kisses. A hot cup of coffee and a healthy breakfast follows. A challenging workout, aromatic shower, and relaxing therapeutic massage are next on the docket. Outdoor brunch with friends and a nap precede relaxing at home with my husband, who will cook me a phenomenal meal and play guitar. (Netflix and snuggles with the hubby and pups may sneak in there, too.)
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
Many people are fighting battles I know nothing about, so I try to be kind in every interaction. Small acts of kindness can make all the difference for someone to feel they matter. If I can make a difference in one person’s day, hopefully it will spread from them to many others.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
My husband’s wedding band, due to its sentimental nature. We keep it in a safe place in the house and only take it out on special occasions. He wears a silicone band throughout the day, which is safer for him as a police officer (so his finger doesn’t get caught jumping a fence, for example).
